Ann McNeill
Director
NAIC's BetterInvesting 
Ann McNeil became an NAIC Director in September 2006. Her special interest is in investment education for youths and underserved community members. Ann is president and owner of MCO Construction & Services, Inc., a company she started to help rebuild communities affected by the McDuffy Riots in Miami, Fla. Ann is also president and owner of MCO Consulting, Inc., a company that helps private-sector companies navigate the public sector’s minority contracting requirements. Ann serves on the boards of the Black Business Association and Monsignor Edward Pace High School. She is also the founder of the National Association for Black Women in Construction, an organization that supports aspiring construction executives.

Ann received a bachelor’s in accounting from Florida Memorial University in Miami, Fla., and a master’s in business administration from Barry University in Miami, Fla. Her involvement with BetterInvesting began in 1998 when she started, and served as president of, an all female investment club, Sisters Together Achieving Financial Freedom (STAFF). She also has helped many other groups form their own clubs. Under the leadership of Bishop Victor T. Curry, D.Min., D.Div., she heads a team that educates more than 100 people per week about investment principles at New Birth Baptist Church Cathedral of Faith International in Miami, Fla., where she is a trustee. Since 2000, Ann has served BetterInvesting’s Southeast Florida Chapter as a director.
